God Is Everywhere

  • I was in a discussion with somebody online a few weeks ago and they told me that they didn't believe in God. I asked him why he felt that way and he told me that there was no physical evidence of God anywhere on our planet.

I thought to myself there is evidence of God's presence everywhere! Look at the sunrise on a cold winters morning. As the sky lightens up notice on very cold mornings the bands of frozen air that sometimes looks like a streamer from a distant star.

Look at the Cochina shell. They are no bigger than the end of your finger but there are millions of them on tropical shorelines and not one of them looks the same.

Back before my arthritis disabled me, I used to love to take walks. Walk quietly in the morning hours in the woods and you can feel the presence of God. As the trees sway and slowly creek in the wind you can hear the voice of God too if you are listening. In fact, I used to talk to God when I took these walks because I felt closer to him there than anywhere else.

Maybe it was my Irish and Scottish ancestry that awakened me to the association of nature and God, but all I know is this is where I feel closest to Him.

If you aren't able to observe the great outdoors and if you want to feel God, merely close your eyes and let your soul take over your consciousness and you will feel God's presence. You don't need a minister or a priest for that. God is our Father and as a parent he wants a personal relationship with all of His children.

If you haven't talked to God in a long time then there is no time like now. You don't need any fancy prayers, just talk to Him. Don't forget to pause on occasion so you can hear God too, that is just as important.

May God bless each and every one of you.

Lloyd Hargrove There is no physical evidence for dark matter, yet by observation of how "something" effects the motion of the universe an inference has been made that dark matter actually amounts to about 90% of everything.
