Facebook Blues ... Literally

    So I just posted a stats update on the front page and painfully enough it was to do. So what does that have to do with my Facebook Blues title? Well ....

    I have been a way for a while now due to health and other reasons beyond my control really. In the mean time all I had really was my phone and plenty of bed time. So facebook and stupid app games it was. Facebook and more Facebook. MAN am I sick of Facebook.

    The struggle is real folks. I went to college for web design and app development and was making a living building websites and along comes Facebook and pretty much puts the stomps on web dev as now days all businesses just hire a SEO person to do seo work and build a Facebook page for them. I have watched so many GREAT forum communities come to a screaching halt as well when all the users abandoned ship and jumped over to Facebook. So, esentially, my Freelace jobs are no more. I do get a straggler from time to time.

    But Ray, you still haev not said clearly what the Title has to do with this post! Ahhh you cut me to the quick! My whole point.....

     

    I thought today, you know what Ray, jump on over at the monastary and say hello to everyone. So I did and guess what? Man for the love of god is this website ever Facebooked up now! We can share, like and all that and even login / register with Facebook.

     

    It's here (on the internet, not literally here) to stay like a bad case of herpes. We just can't escape the powers that are Facebook.

     

    I know there is much more wrong today than just Facebook. Politics, man in general, mans nature now days, everyone no matter what race they are is called racist, people will read something and be offended and KEEP READING. lol SMH! Quit reading. Simple! People are getting offended so easily now.

    And the list goes son and on. Man I so badly wish we could roll back to the 70's or very early 80's again.

     

    Well, I'm going to jump back on the side for now. I truly hope you all are well and doing as well and wonderful as life will allow you to do so.

    Br. E.G. Carriere You're not the only one who is upset with Facebook. Facebook takes over your content once posted by a member. There is no privacy on FB and they keep pushing ads in our face.

    Auntie Moira just delete your account. It is that easy. There are many articles about how to kill your fb account. It takes a little effort, but may be worth it. Refuse abuse. Love yourself. If you choose to stay with fb, set boundaries and limits. When bedridden, one...  more
