Today I sit here and wonder how my life has been changed by my many other family members. I am talking about our pets. Dogs, cats, birds, horses, rabbits, fish etc. Whatever your pet my be. Have you ever taken the time to really sit down and think how your life would be without them in it? Yes sometimes they can drive you crazy (just like people) but most of the time they are there listening to you and wanting nothing more than your attention and love. It has been proven time and time again the health benefits of pets. I highly recommend it. More and more these days you are seeing pet cemetery's and services for our beloved animals and why not? They have brought us much happiness and joy and they deserve to be remembered. Just a few days ago we lost our beloved dog Duke. Even when he was sick he would wag that stub of his and just want your touch. We will always remember him as happy. I want you all to make sure you thank God tonight for your special family member. Don't ever take them for granted. And please if you are looking to get a pet for the holidays Please Please check your local humane society. Let's pray: Dear Lord we ask that your loving hand touch our forgotten family members who bring us much joy and happiness without us asking. May you keep them happy always. Amen!
