Why Unity of Religions Cant happen

  • Why can't the largest, most successful religion (Christianity) of the age (2150 years) find a way to create unity among all religious beliefs? The answer is simple. Because they have created an element of exclusivity in the religion that states, our way is the right way, and only way, and no others but us get into heaven. Yet when Christians are polled (and their identity kept secret) some 91% plus Catholics state that a morally good person not of their religion will gain salvation and get into heaven, 68% evangelicals said the same.  Do you realize what this suggests? That the little exclusivity wrapper that Christians place around their religion is a lie, just no one can admit this fact from a space whereby people know your identity. I personally see this as a very spineless act, but that's just little old me. Comments?

The 3 most important things that humanity should have learned are:

LOVE - the love Christ had for all people that he gave his life.

LIGHT - the light Buddha brought us from up on high.

    POWER
    - The power of free will (Your Choices) not only make up your entire
experience while here in the flesh, but are the architect of your
    destiny.

Together they are, Love, Light and Power.

Scott Bruno So should we all continue to standby idle when it appears that the very things that are supposed to bring us together (religions) in truth really keep us separated and at war with each other? Does not anyone else see the glaring irony in the truth of this...  more

Catharina Hosseini Damabi Dear Bruno, I can tell you why I think its that way, because most of priests of any religion have forgotten their mission, to care for their communities and people. If all would do that they would work together for their people. I wrote here a little tin...  more
