Let's grow for community!

  • Hi there everyone :)

I had a very long thought about the hungry people all over the world. And I can see charities do a lot to help. I am in UK and here people can go to the foodbank only 3 times in a whole year, because there is not enough to feed the people. I know all over the world is the same problem. And there is a growing problem. And people getting tired of some charities which spend of a Dollar/ Pound/ Euro only 10 percent of the donation on the actual cause.

I am going to do something new.

1.I will give away free seeds for the commitment to join a growers list, to everyone who is willing to donate 10 percent of the harvest to food banks, charities or the hungry neighbors etc.

    2. I will ask people to collect seeds leftovers, or that they keep seeds from fruits dry them and label them and send them  to me. And the join the seed collector list.

    3. I will do one big fundraising for my new farm, which will allow me to grow with the help of my friends, plants for seeds and little fruit trees and fruit bushes.

And we will grow as well ginseng and goldens seal and many nearly distinct healing plants with high value. The very high in value plants will finance the give away of plants and seeds.  The farm has a little forrest which will allow us to do this.

And we will not be a charity, but a community interest/ Social Enterprise.

You will be able to buy soon shares of this company. There will be a wage cap , no one can earn more then 25% over national wage. The property is in a asset lock, means it can not be touched for private purpose. In case the project ends, the farm will go back to community or will be given to a charity. This form of Company allows us to get the best out of Company and Charity and makes us independent.  Shareholder can get free seeds and plants. So we make sure no donations will be wasted.

There will be a yearly account to the public.

4.We will give away fruit trees to cities, councils, schools , elderly homes, food banks , community gardens.

5 We will create a new profession Community garden keeper, this will be people trained to set up places to grow in communities and neighborhoods. we will train them not only to grow but to negiotiate with city and council boards , to advice growers and seed collectors. Never forget you can even grow on the windowsill a plant to share.

    6. We will aim to employ disabled, retired people or jobseekers, but most of us are volunteers.

                                            .

I am searching worldwide volunteers which want to be part of this. Please message me.

Thank you have a blessed time.
