Welcome to my blog about Shamanic Christianity. Ill start by introducing myself. My name is Trysten Paulus, 26, residing in a small town in Wisconsin. I grew up here and have lived here most of my life. I am married with children, have served my country proudly in the US Army and US Navy, and I was ordained by ULC in 2008. I have recently converted to Shamanic Christianity due to the fact that I felt that the Bible just left so many questions unanswered. I have read several books, taken many shamanic journeys, found my power animal, and now I am focusing on soul retrieval and obtaining power animals for those who are not of a shamanic background or those in need of help.
I firmly believe that Shamanism works, is easily taught and learned, but never mastered. Since I have begun working with my power animal I have greatly increased my health and feel so much better emotionally and physically. To give you a small portion of my history, I was involved in a motor vehicle accident while serving in the US Navy and I ruptured five (5) discs in my neck and back. At the age of 25 nothing seems more horrifying than the potential of being paralyzed or having to under-go a major opperation to fuse your spine. I lived with pain for two years, being prescribed narcotics to control the intense pain from the nerves being pinched off. After finding my power animal and making weekly journeys into What is called the "Lower-world", not a hell type of world but a world full of natural beauty filled with animals and lush vegitation, I no longer exibit pain or stiffness like i used to. Sure I still have bad days now and then but I feel 100% better than I did after almost 12 months of physical therapy and all the medications they put me on.
I am looking for like minded people from all walks of life to join me in my quest to spread the Shamanic way of life while still serving our lord Jesus. I hope that I can have the pleasure of healing those around me and using and sharing the gift I was given. God bless and may you be one with your power animal.
