The Bible

  • Just a little information
The bible is written in 2123 languages, the old testament was written in Hebrew, and Aramaic. The new testament was written in Greek. It is the most published book and more bibles are stolen than any other book.
Although it is impossible to obtain exact figures, there is little doubt that the Bible is the worlds best-selling and most widely distributed book. A survey by the Bible Society concluded that around 2.5 billion copies were printed between 1815 and 1975, but more recent estimates put the number at more than 5 billion. Combined global sales of Today's English Version (Good News) New Testament and Bible (copyright for which is held by the Bible Societies) exceeded 17.75 million copies, and the whole Bible had been translated into 349 languages; 2123 languages have at least one book of the Bible in that language.
God used 40 different men to write the Bible over a period of about 1,500 years. And these men for the most part never knew of the others. Ruth was written by Samuel, and Esther by Mordecai He adopted his cousin (Esther 2:7), Hadassah (Esther), an orphan child, whom he brought up as if she were his own daughter.) . Paul wrote 14 books, Romans - 1 Corinthians - 2 Corinthians - Galatians - Ephesians - Philippians - Colossians - 1 Thessalonians - 2 Thessalonians - 1 Timothy - 2 Timothy - Titus - Philemon. Hebrews.

1 Major Book – The Holy Bible contains 66 books, 1,189 chapters, 3,1173 verses. 807,361 words. The shortest verse in the new testament is John 11:35 Jesus wept, and in the old testament is Job 3:2 He said, the longest verse is Ester 8:9
2 Minor Books – The Old Testament - The Old Testament is the first 39 books. The Old Testament contains the creation of the universe, the history of the patriarchs, the exodus from Egypt, the formation of Israel as a nation, the subsequent decline and fall of the nation, the Prophets (who spoke for God), and the Wisdom Books.
The 39 books of the Old Testament were written over a period of approximately 1,000 years, beginning with Moses (around 1450 B.C.) until the time when the Jewish people returned to Judah from exile (538-400 B.C.) during the Persian Empire.
The New Testament is a collection of 27 books, placed after the Old Testament. The name refers to the new covenant (or promise) between God and humanity through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The New Testament chronicles the life and ministry of Jesus, the growth and impact of the early church, and instructive letters to early churches.

The King James Version of the Bible, released in 1611, was authorized by King.
Humanly speaking, the Bible was written by approximately 40 men of diverse backgrounds over the course of 1500 years. Isaiah was a prophet, Ezra was a priest, Matthew was a tax-collector, John was a fisherman, Paul was a tentmaker, Moses was a shepherd, Luke was a physician. Despite being penned by different authors over 15 centuries, the Bible does not contradict itself and does not contain any errors. The authors all present different perspectives, but they all proclaim the same one true God, and the same one way of salvation—Jesus Christ (John 14:6; Acts 4:12).
