Art of Meditation

  • In the Art of Meditation, it tells us, “It is not really we who pray or meditate at all; the spirit meditates within us, and we simply open our consciousness to let the Spirit reveal our need and its fulfillment.  There within, is the secret.  How different that is from doing mental work, declaring or affirming that this or that shall come to pass-and now, this minute.  Rather, in going into meditation, our attitude should be that of the little Hebrew boy, “Speak Lord, for thy servant heareth.”   That is the true attitude with which to enter into meditation-opening our consciousness to God and letting God fulfill Itself within us.”

Let us turn to the Father/Mother God for the pure joy of knowing Spirit.  Demonstrations should never enter the practice of meditation for it will only get in the way of our good (God.)  We are not here to have better living conditions, or to fight for this cause or that, we are not here to even have harmonious relationships.  We are here to have spiritual understanding (God’s understanding) in consciousness of our relationship to God and to do Spirits’ Will and Spirits’ Will only.  We can delay and delay but the time will come when we will turn to God with joy in our hearts and God will reveal Itself and then we will experience, “The Father and I are One.” John 10: 30 and John 17:11.
