  • You Don’t Have To Feel It
    Friday, August 10, 2018

Many believers want to feel the Lord’s love all the time. But then what’s the point of faith? We shouldn’t wait to feel compassion when the Lord says to be compassionate. He doesn’t tell us to feel holy but to be holy. Thus it’s more important to be good than to feel good because true goodness is often most good when it doesn’t feel good. Messiah never said you shall feel the truth and the truth make you free; He said you shall know the truth. Feelings are nothing more than feelings, but God is real. So a real walk of a true disciple must never rest on feelings, but on the truth. If you’re feeling far from God, that’s ok. It doesn’t mean you’re far away. And if you’re feeling as if God doesn’t love you, that’s ok too, because it’s nothing more than feelings. God loves you, and His word is true. So be good, be holy, be righteous, be compassionate, and be loving…whether you feel like it or whether you don’t. Be good for the Lord is real and good.

TODAY'S MISSION - Today, choose righteousness over feelings. Be good, compassionate, holy, and loving…whether you feel like it or whether you don’t.
