  • The Person Of Mizot
    Tuesday, August 28, 2018

In Hebrew ‘mizot’ means ‘who is this?’ Song of Solomon, 6:10 says “Who is this who shines like the dawn?” The Bride’s maidens are inquiring into the identity of the Bride. So, why do they say ‘Who is this?’ when they should know? In the same way, the Bride of Messiah should have a quality that makes others say ‘Mizot?’, ‘Who is this?’ even to those who know her best…just as with the maidens of the Bride. The Bride must always be surprising. And she is to surprise by always changing by the grace of God. You are the Bride of Messiah. So are you surprising people? Are you making your maidens say “who is this”? You need to. Start today. Think of unexpected acts, unwarranted gestures of grace or unexplainable actions of compassion you can do this week. Surprise your family, your friends, your congregation, your enemies, your co-workers, and all the rest. Surprise them because you are the mizot person - it’s your job to surprise the world!
From Message #675 - She Like the Dawn

    Scripture: Song of Solomon 6:10

TODAY'S MISSION - Today, do an unexpected act of grace, mercy, and compassion for someone in your life.
