  Dear Father God,

   

  Thank You for loving me.

   

  I want to be more like You my Lord.

   

  Please open the eyes of my heart so that I may see You more clearly.

   

  Jesus said, "I am the light of the world." John 8:12

   

  Jesus told his followers, "You are the LIght of the World." Matthew 5:14

   

  Please mold me in such a way that I may shine my light brightly so that others will begin to see Your love for them.

   

  Whether in my family, my workplace or in the daily interactions I have with other people in my life; please use me to shine Your light into the darkness of this world.

   

  Create within me the desire to share You love with others.

   

  Please guide me by Your Holy Spirit, that I may become a beacon to those in deepest need.

   

  Let all of this be for Your glory.

   

  Thank You, Lord.
