  • Two Messiahs For One
    Monday, January 14, 2019
The prophets foretold Messiah would come in glory, riding on the clouds, subduing the nations and reigning forever. The prophets also said He would come in humility, riding on a donkey, that He’d be rejected, suffer, and die for sins. The rabbis couldn’t put the two pictures together, so they came up with the idea of two Messiahs: Messiah, son of Joseph, and Messiah, son of David. One would come humbly and die for sin, and the other would come in glory and reign forever. But scripture only speaks of one Messiah, so the only answer is one Messiah, two comings. In Yeshua, Jesus, the suffering Messiah, and the royal Messiah come together. You get two for one! He’s more than twice as wonderful. He’s better than twice as good. If you truly follow Him, He’ll give you a love that’s worth more than double anything in this world. So follow Him with all your heart. Follow Him with all your mind, soul, and strength and He will make your life twice as wonderful also.
From Message #206 - The Missing Years 1

    Scripture: John 14:6

TODAY'S MISSION - Today, lift up Messiah and follow Him with all your heart, mind, soul, and strength.
