Dear Father God,
I want You to shape my life.
Humbled, I approach You, knowing that I need You to be the center of my life.
Sometimes I find myself living like my old self, living from a place of selfishness and shame.
But You have called me to "put off (my) old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires...and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness." Ephesians 4:22-24
Thank You for giving me new life and a new self where I can be forgiven of my selfish ways.
Lord, I fall short time after time, but I am grateful that You allow me to put on my new self each day, clothed in Your righteousness and washed by Your grace.
With each new day, I look to You, comforted with the hope that You are continually making me new...
Then He who sat on the throne said,
“Behold, I make all things new.”
Revelation 21:5
