  • The Anti-Sin Secret Of Proverbs 5
    Monday, February 18, 2019
There’s a powerful secret to overcoming sin and temptation in the Book of Proverbs. You’ll read many warnings against the adulteress. But in Proverbs 5:8, it says, “Stay far away from her door.” This is a critical and powerful secret for dealing with sin. For it is one thing to avoid an adulteress, but it’s another thing to avoid her door. To deal with an adulteress or an adulterer can be hard. You may be under pressure or temptation. But to deal with a door is much easier. No one has ever been pressured, enticed, or tempted by a door. So if you want to be successful in overcoming sin, then don’t deal with sin – deal with the door. Don’t even allow yourself to get near that temptation. Stay away from even the door of the situation that could lead you there. Stay far from that house, that bar, that subject, that relationship, that image, that program, or whatever it is. For then, you won’t even see the temptation, and you’ll be blessed. For no matter what sin you’re dealing with… dealing with its door is a lot easier.

    Scripture: 2 Peter 2:9

TODAY'S MISSION - Today, stay away from even the door of any situation that could lead you to dishonor God.
