  • He Led You In The Wilderness
    Wednesday, February 20, 2019
We often think of being in the wilderness as a place of being stuck, like being in a holding pattern. But in Deuteronomy 8, Moses tells the Israelites “You shall remember all the ways the Lord your God has led you in the wilderness.” Two key words: ‘wilderness’ and ‘led,’ or ‘He led you.’ The wilderness was not really a holding pattern or a place to get stuck in. The wilderness was the place God led them. If you feel you’re in a wilderness period in your life or your walk, don’t make the mistake of thinking you’re stuck. You’re not stuck at all. In fact, the Israelites moved more when they were in the wilderness than when they were outside it. In the wilderness, God will lead you too, even in ways you could never have known outside of it. So whether you’re in the wilderness or not, seek the Lord today, to lead you, to move you forward, to teach you, and to bring you to higher ground. He will. And you too “shall remember how the Lord led you in the wilderness.”

    Scripture: Psalm 139:10

TODAY'S MISSION - Today, don’t make the mistake of thinking you’re stuck. Seek the Lord to lead you forward to Higher Ground.
