  • The Evangelist To The Interviewers
    Wednesday, April 24, 2019
When I graduated from college, I went on job interviews. It was in the middle of a deep recession and there were no openings. Finally, while in the waiting room for an interview, I decided to change my strategy. I wouldn’t go into the interview seeking to get a job, but instead to witness to the job interviewer. I went into the room and the man interviewed me. When he asked me what experience I had that qualified me for the job, I told him: none. And I then started sharing my faith. It was the worst interview of my life. The next day, I received a phone call telling me that I got the job! We’re not here on earth to receive, or to be dependent on receiving from man. We have one purpose— to give the Gospel and God’s love. That’s what happened with me that day, and by seeking to give rather than to receive, everything else was added to me. Do the same in every situation you find yourself. Remember, you’re not here to get, but to give — so, give.
From Message #844 - Lifeguard! Lifeguard!

    Scripture: Mark 16:15

TODAY'S MISSION - Today, no matter what situation you’re in, seek to be a blessing to it. Seek to give rather than receive and let God take care of the rest.
