  Dear Father in Heaven,

   

  As I think back through the years, I am thankful for the times and the places where I have met with others to worship You.

   

  God, Your house should be a safe haven from the world, a sacred and special place where the Church comes together to lift up Your name, to worship You, to proclaim Your Word, and to encourage one another.

   

  Your house is a place where You meet with us and provide refreshment to our souls.

   

  It is a place that demands our reverence and a special place that deserves our care.

   

  It stands as a light in the dark and a beacon in the world, offering hope to all who enter.

   

  It represents Your desire for relationship and fellowship with Your people and points to Your place of honor and respect above all.

   

  Please give us a holy zeal for Your house and an increasing desire to please You, the Father of the house.
