  Lighthouse Ministries Daily Prayer

  Dear Father God,

   

  I need to learn to take one day at a time and not to worry about tomorrow.

   

  Jesus reminds me...

   

  Do not worry about tomorrow,

  for tomorrow will worry about its own things.

  Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

  Matthew 6:34

   

  Today, I give all my worries and concerns to You, God.

   

  You are the all-knowing, all-powerful, ever-present, Almighty God.

   

  Please give me Your peace, grace, and wisdom for today.

   

  Lord, I also pray for the people in this world who live in war-torn nations, in poverty, in unhappy homes, and in abusive situations.

   

  Please embrace them and show them Your love.

   

  Let them know that You are God and that You care about them and You will give them rest.

   

  In Jesus’ name, I pray,

   

  Amen
