  • Jonathan And The Judge
    Friday, July 5, 2019
When I was 19 years old, I was hit by a locomotive train and by a miracle, not killed. That’s what led me to the Lord. At the same time, after being hit by the train, I was given a summons to appear in court. I came prepared with arguments, defenses, and photographs. But the judge didn’t want to hear any of it. Instead, he completely dismissed all the charges. I was still trying to give my presentation as my father motioned “He just dismissed the charges, leave the judge alone, and get out of the court!” It was a sort of foreshadowing of salvation. As believers, we so often try to convince God to bless us, to love us, to provide for us, to protect and defend us. But we don’t have to. He’s the One who had to convince us to be saved. He loves us freely. And He gladly has chosen to give us the kingdom. So stop trying to convince God what you want and let Him convince you of the love and blessings He wants to give you - when you rest your case at the Judge’s Bench.
    From Message #1288 - Gladly

    Scripture: Matthew 11:28

TODAY'S MISSION - Today, don’t try to convince God of anything, but instead focus on letting God convince you of His grace, His love, His mercy, and His plans for your life.
