  • The Unplanned Bethlehem Finale
    Friday, July 12, 2019
On our tour to Israel, I had the last day all planned out. We’d end up on the road to Emmaus with a very ‘special’ conclusion. But the tour guide wanted first to take us to this place near Bethlehem. It seemed poor, dusty, and depressed. Just as we were about to leave, our bus broke down. Our tour was ending in the middle of nowhere! I was praying and sensed the Lord saying, “It’s not where you are that matters….” So I asked an Arab household if we could use their backyard. They said “yes.” We got out a guitar and started praising the Lord. The Spirit of God was there. The father of the Arab family – and later, his entire family – prayed to accept the Lord. It was a ‘perfect’ conclusion to our pilgrimage! We often make the mistake of judging our lives by our circumstances. In truth, it’s not where you are that matters, but whom you’re with. So wherever you are, rejoice in the Lord, glorify His name, lift Him up, and give thanks – And wherever you are will become a place of glory, victory, and joy.

TODAY'S MISSION - Today, wherever you are, no matter what, and regardless of circumstances, rejoice in the Lord, glorify His name, lift Him up, and give thanks.
