You understand what it is like to be tempted...
Because he himself suffered when he was tempted,
he is able to help those who are being tempted.
You have resisted and overcome temptations.
Please help me to also resist and to overcome all temptations through Your power within me.
Please be near to me when I am tempted.
Please give me extra faith and strength, and a special touch of Your love at just the right times.
Please intervene on my behalf.
Lord, I want to please You.
May I always draw on the strength that You give to me and may You always show mercy and grace to me along the way.
