  • The Father’s Legacy
    Friday, August 23, 2019
A study of men who were in therapy found that 23% of them had physically absent fathers, 29% had psychologically absent fathers, 18% had disapproving fathers, 15% had dangerous fathers, and only 15% had fathers who were nurturing. Thus 85% of the men had bad relationships with their fathers! Other studies have shown over and over again, that one of the most central causes of crime and social problems is the lack of a father. If you’re a father, take this to heart. Fatherhood is one of the most important ministries on earth. Treat it as such. If you’ve had a tough time with your father, and he’s still alive, forgive and bless him. You can change that relationship. And above all, no matter what kind of relationship you had or didn’t have with your father. Remember you ultimately have another Father – a Father who is never absent, never abusive, never anything less than loving. No matter what your past has been, you have the way to overcome it. Discover the Perfect and Loving Heavenly Father you now have, and you’ll become the perfect beloved child you were always meant to be.

TODAY'S MISSION - Today, take time to come to your heavenly Father as His beloved child.
