  Dear Lord,

   

  I am aware of how the devil picks at me and tries to trap me all the time.

   

  Please help me to stand strong against the schemes of the devil...

   

  Be alert and of sober mind.

  Your enemy the devil prowls around

  like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.

  1 Peter 5:8

   

  I know there are spiritual dangers around me.

   

  Please help me to remain alert and to be fully under the Holy Spirit's control at all times.

   

  I submit to You and I resist the devil...

   

  Therefore submit to God.

  Resist the devil and he will flee from you.

  James 4:7

   

  Please protect me and my family from harm and evil.

   

  Thank You for Your love and for Your protection.
