  • THE RETURN: PART II: HOW TO BE PART
    Friday, May 1, 2020

Last month I shared with you an important announcement concerning the critical moment we are now in – that we stand in a window of grace for the purpose of return. And without return, the window will close – and it may not come around again. Thus, I have announced a National Day of Prayer and Repentance set for the autumn of this year, during the 400th anniversary of the voyage of the Mayflower – to be called The Return.

I felt to do this here in Sapphires since you who are receiving it are co-ministers and partners with me in the Great Commission to let you know how you can be part.

First, all of this is based on the hope of God’s mercy as set forth in 2 Chronicles 7:14: “If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their sinful ways, I will hear from heaven, I will forgive their sin, and I will heal their land.”

How can you be a part? First, The Return begins now. And if we are wanting to see revival in our nation, we must first set our hearts on seeing a revival in our lives. If we are to be agents of revival – we must first be agents in revival. Revival begins in repentance. So if there is anything in your life that shouldn’t be in your life, the time is now to confess it, bring it to God, repent of it, and get it out.

On the other hand, if there is anything that is not in your life, that God has called to be in your life, rising in holiness, righteousness, prayer, victory, love, joy, forgiveness, purity, overcoming, ministry – whatever God has called for your life – the time is now to begin that rise and become the person you’ve been called to be.

The promise of 2 Chronicles 7:14, specifically reveals the central keys of revival – if we humble ourselves, pray, seek His face, and turn from our sinful ways. The Return will center on the month of September but, again, it begins now. Commit this time now for personal revival, for prayer as never before, for turning away from sin as never before – for seeking God as never before. And then intercede for this nation, for God’s hand, for The Return, and for worldwide revival. Parents, lead your family in prayer and revival. Pastors, lead your churches in intercession and revival. Leaders, lead your ministries, your movements, your people.

And then in September, intensify all these things – especially from September 18 to September 28, the ancient ten days of repentance. And then on the central day of The Return, September 26, 2020, come to Washington, D.C. to gather on the National Mall for a sacred assembly of prayer, worship, intercession, repentance, national restoration, return, and revival. If you can’t be there, then gather in a gathering in your state, city, or town. (We will seek to simulcast it, so we will all be joined together.) And until then, spread the word, let your pastor, pastors, churches as well as believers in your lives know of The Return that they can be a part.

Let us now break up our fallow ground and seek the Lord as never before. Let us believe for great and mighty things we know not of. It is time to return! And may God greatly bless you as you do!
