  • How To Become A Good Actor
    Friday, May 15, 2020
Have you ever seen a movie or play where it seems like people are just reading their lines? We call that bad acting. On the other hand, if what they’re saying sounds as if it’s actually coming from their heart, we call it good acting. As believers we are called to act; to do good works or good actions for God. So, how is your acting? If you’re doing actions for the Lord but it’s not from your heart, doing it only on the outside – that’s bad acting. If you’re serving in ministry and fulfilling your responsibilities, but it’s not from the heart – it’s bad acting. God wants you to do whatever you do wholeheartedly. When you love, when you praise, when you give, when you counsel, when you shepherd, when you’re a parent, when you’re a husband or wife, do it from your heart – those are good actions. Colossians 3:23 says, “whatever you do, work at it with all your heart.” Be a good actor. Act in such a way that people will believe that you’re for real! Act so well that you’re acting won’t just be acting anymore.

    Today's Mission
Today, serve the Lord with your whole heart. Do the will of God today, but in all you do, do it wholeheartedly.
