  Lighthouse Ministries Daily Prayer

  Dear God,

   

  Thank You for this beautiful new day.

   

  I come before You and humbly ask that You will create in me a clean heart, and forgive me of my sins and failures, as David prayed...

   

  Create in me a clean heart, O God,

  And renew a steadfast spirit within me.

  Do not cast me away from Your presence,

  And do not take Your Holy Spirit from me.

  Restore to me the joy of Your salvation,

  And uphold me by Your generous Spirit.

  Then I will teach transgressors Your ways,

  And sinners shall be converted to You.​

  Psalm 51:10-13

   

  Please renew a right spirit within me.

   

  Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy Holy Spirit from me.

   

  Restore unto me the joy of Your salvation; and uphold me with Your generous Spirit.

   

  I ask this that You may be glorified by me, that my life may be a testimony to others, and that others may see Your merciful hand and be drawn to You.

   

  Thank You, O wonderful Creator.
