  • Praise After The Bomb

    Monday, October 5, 2020

I know a Jewish believer in Israel who was in a congregation of believers and there was opposition. The Orthodox bombed his congregation. He knew it was the enemy trying to intimidate him, so days after the bombing they held a service right there in the bombed-out room, with dancing, joy, praise, and thanksgiving. He took the enemy's attack not as a discouragement but as an encouragement. He had something to do that must have been very important or the enemy would not have bothered. Since then, God has only blessed His ministry. Likewise, the enemy is going to try to intimidate and stop you from moving forward in the Lord's will. In fact, if you are being attacked, discouraged and intimidated in following the Lord, don't stop - It means you're blessed. You must be doing something worth his effort and his time. Give thanks, rejoice, and press on all the more. You're doing something right. And keep doing it because the enemy can never stop you from doing God's will unless you stop yourself.

From Message #901 - The Great Bluff

    Today's Mission

Take something in your life that the enemy sought to discourage you with... or something you've been discouraged about... & thank God instead - knowing He will use it for good.

    Scripture: 2 Timothy 2:3
