Coffee Time with Jesus

  • Jesus: The Beloved
To the praise of the glory of His grace,
    by which He made us
    accepted in the Beloved.
    Ephesians 1:6

Jesus is the Beloved, the object of His Father’s love. Throughout His life on the earth, Jesus acknowledged His Father’s love for Him (John 3:35; 5:20; 17:23). And in return His Father said, “This is my beloved son” (Matthew 3:17). Jesus could not have done what He did without the Father’s love and support. Now Jesus wants to teach you His love.

You are my Beloved Lord Jesus; I love You. The most important focus in my life is to love You with all of my heart and soul and strength. How can I love You more?

Jesus is your Beloved; and because you are in Him, you are “accepted in the Beloved” (Ephesians 1:6). When the Father loves Jesus, He also loves you, because Jesus said, “You [are] in Me, and I in you” (John 14:20). Therefore, every benefit Jesus has with the Father is yours. So let the knowledge of His love deepen your love for Him. When you know that the Father loves you, you will begin to conform to His desires and to do the things He wants to do. When you begin to live in His love, you will get a passion to love others as the Father and Jesus love you.

O my Beloved, I accept Your love to me. I yield my life to be filled with Your presence. Let Your love flow to me and through me to others. Amen.

    Go Deeper: Ephesians 1:1-12

You are loved as much as Jesus is loved by the Father.
