  • The Hard Lesson of the French Revolution
    Monday, April 26, 2021

In the late 18th century, France was overthrown by a revolutionary government, proclaiming there was no God and declared France atheistic. Soon afterwards, the government realized that man cannot exist without God. During the reign of terror, thousands were butchered, even revolutionaries by revolutionaries. Finally Robespierre declared that belief in God was essential; without it there could be no virtue or morality, no republic. By proclamation, the representatives voted that "France acknowledged the existence of a Supreme Being and the immortality of the soul." The revolutionaries learned the hard way what the Bible said from the beginning. Man cannot live without God because there's no meaning in life, and nothing of virtue or goodness. This is true for revolutionary governments, for individuals and for Christians as well. You proclaim God with your lips, but deny Him with your life. If you believe in God, then God must be Lord of your life, your number one. Proclaim God; live a life in which God is God and the Lord is Lord. When He isn't, life isn't much better than a reign of terror.
From Message #798 - The Revolution

    Today's Mission
Let your life proclaim today that Yeshua, Messiah is your "Number One" and the meaning of your life. Let His virtue and goodness flow from you, a reflection of the Lord.
