Lighthouse Ministries Daily Prayer
Today we celebrate mothers, and we ask you to bless and encourage all mothers in our lives.
We thank You for our natural mothers, as well as for all of the mothers you have placed in our lives when we most needed their love and encouragement.
I am moved by the realization that there are children of all ages, babies through adults, whose mothers are absent — whether through work demands, abandonment, prison, death or any other reasons.
I pray for Your comfort, peace, love and for Your Heavenly Fatherly presence that only You can provide for each person.
I pray that You, the Father to the fatherless, will fill any void which they have in their hearts and homes.
Please heal their hearts and let them know that they are precious in Your sight.
Show them that they are not abandoned nor are they alone, because you are with them.
Let each one know that they have value in Your sight and in Your divine plans and purposes..
Please send devoted Christian friends to surround them and to encourage them.
Please provide loving Christian mentors to teach, to guide and to shepherd them.
Please meet their every need—spiritual, emotional, physical and material.
I pray that each one will recognize their special place in Your world and Your divine purpose for their life.
May Your blessings abound as they look to You, our Abba Father and Maker.
