You are Father of the Fatherless...
A father of the fatherless,
is God in His holy habitation.
I pray for those who have a void in their lives where a father's love should be present.
I pray for those who have never known a father, those whose fathers abandoned them, those whose fathers may be away for an extended time, those whose fathers are no longer living, those whose fathers are too busy for their family, those whose fathers are abusive…whatever the reason, I pray for those who are fatherless.
I pray that each of them, and even those who have an earthly father in their lives, that they will look to You the Father who created us all and who loves us unconditionally.
You are our Heavenly Father who loves us eternally and who cares enough to correct Your wayward children, to speak to our hearts and to guide us by Your Holy Spirit and by Your Word.
Out of your Fatherly love for us, You sent Your only son to save us from our sins.
Your arms are wide open to embrace us when we come to You.
May we all know You as our Heavenly Father, the Father to the Fatherless, and may we know Your loving embrace today.
