In Ephesians it is written, "Don't give the enemy any room." You have to be careful not to give the enemy even an inch in such things as anger, bitterness, and unforgiveness. There's another way to give the enemy room, a way that you probably didn't even realize. That's to magnify him. You may have thought that only devil worshipers magnify him. Another people do too - believers. When you attribute everything to the devil, when you dwell on his power and darkness, when you speak about him as being almost on a level with God, when you fear him - you're magnifying him. When you magnify him, you're giving him free publicity. Focus on evil, impurity, and sin, and that's what you'll find. You don't conquer evil or the enemy by focusing on evil and the enemy. You overcome the enemy by focusing on God, and evil by focusing on good, and the flesh, by focusing on the Spirit. Stop being a P.R. agent for the enemy. Magnify the Lord, and the enemy will shrink. Give full room to God and the good news of salvation, and there will be no room left for the enemy.

Don't give the enemy credit, don't dwell on evil today, but magnify the Lord in all things.
