  • Entering Pusher's Park With no Fear
    Thursday, August 26, 2021

I used to go to New York City on weekends with a group of people ministering to the homeless. In those days, there was a park in the city that was one of the most forbidden places, full of drug addicts and drug pushers. Now, we could have seen it as a place to fear and avoid. Instead, we saw it as a mission field. We went to them and began dealing in salvation, giving God's Word. You see, it's true... "Perfect love casts out all fear." When your goal is to give, then nothing can ever be taken from you. You can look at a situation and see danger and devastation, or look at it as a field of harvest. Messiah looked out at a multitude of people with problems, but that's not what He saw. He saw a harvest. It is then that He said, "The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few." So, stop seeing your problem as dark and forbidding. For in God, it is a harvest. You are the harvester. Sow the seed of God's Word, the seed of love, and reap from the field, the Lord's harvest.

    Today's Mission
Ask God to give you a 'field of harvest' today. Go out against fear and sow the good seeds of God to those in need.
