  • The Anti-Semite who Came up With a Hebrew Holiday
    Wednesday, December 29, 2021

Purim is the Jewish holiday, the festival of lots, the casting of lots. Do you know that holiday is named after the enemy of the Jewish people? It was Haman who came up with it. He decided that lots should be cast for the destruction of the Jewish people. They made a holiday out of it because God redeemed them. Well, it teaches us something amazing. Don't be afraid of evil; don't be afraid of problems; there's no skirting of the issue with Purim. Don't be afraid of the plans of the enemy, deal with it. We have a faith that can deal with problems and overcome them. It reminds us that whatever evil attempts to do, we have something greater than evil. When we say Purim, we are bearing witness that God is greater than the problem. So, know this, no matter what trouble comes against you, God will turn it upside down if you follow Him. You can smile about the days to come, for every trial, every sorrow, every tribulation, will end up as Haman's holiday, a triumph of the good and the victory that God brought you.

    Today's Mission
Don't fear troubles, problems, or evil today - but take trouble head on - and use it for God's purposes and glory.
