  • The Return of The Falashas
    Tuesday, January 4, 2022

There has long lived in Africa a people known as the Falashas who keep the Biblical traditions and call themselves Beta Yisrael, the House of Israel. It appears that the Falashas are descendants of Jewish people who came to Africa from ancient times. In the 1970s and 80s they were in danger of extinction. In an amazing feat, Israel sent airplanes in with lightning speed, told the Falashas to get ready and airlifted thousands and thousands of them in Operation Moses and Operation Solomon. After 2000 years, they were back. So, too, in the Kingdom of God, it doesn't matter how far off, cut off, or removed you've been from the Lord or His people. And it doesn't matter what situation you're in right now, how far you've strayed or how deep the pit you've gotten into. All you need to do is call upon the Lord and you'll be saved. The Falashas were cut off for at least two thousand years. But now they are back in the Promised Land. So you too, need never be far away from God. For the distance between you and Him is only one call away.

    Today's Mission
Whatever you have done, no matter how far you feel from God, no matter how down or deep you are, or how hopeless your situation.... call upon the Lord, and He will answer.
