    Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You for my church family and for providing a place for us to come together every week in Your presence to encourage each other and to worship You...

And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.
    Hebrews 10:24-25

Please help me to make my church family gatherings a priority in my schedule so that I can be encouraged to grow as a Christian and to fulfill my unique role in my local body of Christ...

For as the body is one and has many members...
For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body...
For in fact the body is not one member but many...
But now God has set the members, each one of them, in the body just as He pleased...
But now indeed there are many members, yet one body...
But God composed the body...that there should be no schism in the body, but that the members should have the same care for one another. And if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; or if one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it. Now you are the body of Christ, and members individually.
    1 Corinthians 12:12-27

I pray that Your Holy Spirit would guide and bless my church body, and that You would plant a deep desire within me to love, serve and minister to others in my church body.

I want to be a part of Your 'hands and feet' that come together to serve and encourage each other each week in my church.

I ask for Your blessing on my church, that it would be a healthy and vibrant community, eager to serve You and to spread Your love into our neighborhoods and around the world.

Please bless me with a servant heart Lord Jesus, like Yours.

In the loving name of Jesus I pray,

    Amen.
