The Bible speaks of the enemy as a snake. So I did some research on snakes and learned that a key to avoiding a snake bite is to avoid snake habitats, places like caves or open tombs. Now I've made it a policy to avoid open tombs. Do you also want to avoid being bitten by a snake? Then avoid dark places where they hang out. Spiritually this means avoiding places of death. If you don't want the enemy to bite you, avoid open tombs. Even if the tomb has a welcome mat and someone inside saying 'Come on in!' Stay away. There's only death inside. What are the open tombs in our lives? Gossip is an open tomb. Bitterness, unforgiveness and self-pity are all open tombs. Pride, self-indulgence, adult entertainment, ungodly attitudes... all open tombs. Stop hanging out in these places because the enemy is waiting there to attack and ensnare you. So avoid dead places and dead situations. Even avoid dead thoughts and thoughts of dead things. Instead, get into life, the things of life, and the way of life. As you do, you'll avoid hanging out in open tombs.

    Today's Mission
Be as a child of the Light living a life of Godly attitudes. Run away from enticing traps of the flesh and avoid the spiritually dark things of this world.
