  • The Ministry of The Prisoner

A believer, whose heart was to preach the gospel, was put in prison. If he knew he would reach far more people, and win far more souls to God inside the jail than outside, it would be hard for him to believe. He was more used of God inside his jail cell than out. The man was the Apostle Paul. He was in prison, and couldn't reach anyone. So, he was forced to write. Because he wrote, he reached not thousands, not millions, but billions. Despite his circumstance, the Gospel wasn't changed. The same for you. You might think your best days in God are over, that you can't minister or glorify God because of that situation that's hindering you. Remember the man in jail. There is no chain strong enough to stop the Gospel or His purposes. Don't wait for your situation to change. Glorify Him now in your situation. Praise Him, serve Him, do His will right where you are, and you will find, like Paul, the Gospel is not bound, nor is His calling on your life. You might find that what you thought was a hindrance, was actually your greatest ministry.

    Today's Mission
Minister where you are today. Don't wait for your circumstances to change; God is able to use you right where you are for His glory.
