  Dear Father God,

   

  Thank You for loving me...

   

  For God so loved the world

  that He gave His only begotten Son,

  that whoever believes in Him should not perish

  but have everlasting life.

  John 3:16

   

  Please teach me to love like You love....

   

  He who does not love

  does not know God,

  for God is love.

  1 John 4:8

   

  I need Your help today.

   

  I need to know what to do when the sin and actions of others affects me.

   

  I ask You to please shield and protect me.

   

  Please help me to not react wrongly, that I would not do or say anything unloving or sinful.

   

  Please open my eyes, enlighten my mind, and speak to my heart.

   

  Draw me near to You and to Your great love..

   

  Please fill me with Your love.

   

  Please increase my love for others.

   

  Please break the strongholds that keep me from loving others, doing what is right and following Your will.

   

  I ask these things in the loving name of Jesus,

   

  Amen.
