  Lighthouse Ministries Daily Prayer

  Dear Lord God,

   

  I ask that You will be near to those who feel far from You and that You would draw them to Yourself this Christmas...

   

  Draw near to God and He will draw near to you...

  James 4:8

   

  I ask that You show me ways to reach out to those around me who need Your hope and Your comfort during this Christmas season.

   

  Thank You that You call me to take my Sabbath rest each week.

   

  I ask that this week, I will rest in Your presence and that I will experience Your peace.

   

  Please help me to be aware of Your presence with me all day and everyday.

   

  Let Your love shine through me to bring light to everyone I encounter.

   

  And, let me be like the wise builder who builds his life on Your words, that You will be the Cornerstone of my life...

   

  “Therefore, whoever hears these sayings of Mine,

  and does them,

  I will liken him to a wise man

  who built his house on the rock:

  and the rain descended, the floods came,

  and the winds blew and beat on that house,

  and it did not fall,

  for it was founded on the rock."

  Matthew 7:24-25
