Dear Lord God,
Today is Maundy Thursday, when my Christian sisters and brothers around the world commemorate the day that Jesus washed the feet of His disciples, then they ate their Last Supper together, and Jesus shared the first communion with his disciples.
Thank You for this holy week leading up to Easter Resurrection Sunday, when we celebrate Jesus's resurrection.
My Lord Jesus, please bring your new life to me and to all of your creation, as you did in the beginning...
Then God said, “Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb that yields seed, and the fruit tree that yields fruit according to its kind, whose seed is in itself, on the earth”; and it was so.... And God saw that it was good. So, the evening and the morning were the third day. Genesis 1:11-13
I thank You for making all things new...
Then He who sat on the throne said,
“Behold, I make all things new.”
Revelation 21:5
Please bring new life and fresh passion for Jesus into my heart today.
Please restore to me the joy of Your salvation and refresh my spirit...
Restore to me the joy of Your salvation,
And uphold me by Your generous Spirit.
Psalm 51:12
Please increase my hunger for more time with You in prayer, worship, and Your Word.
Lord, You are the God and Creator who brings healing to hearts that have been neglected and broken.
I lift my hands in prayer and in worship to You, for You are my Savior...
I desire therefore that the men pray everywhere,
lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting
