People have sometimes asked me how old my computer is. If I answer, "It's seven months old." They reply, "Then it's a dinosaur." "Oh really?" I reply, "And what kind of computer do you have?" "Well, I'm just about to purchase a new computer with 1000 terabytes." "That's nice, but give it two months, and you've got a dinosaur. All you're doing is buying a future dinosaur." The more new something is in this world, the more quickly it becomes old. New technology becomes old in a matter of months - New movies, in a matter of weeks - New news, a matter of hours. The newer it is, the more quickly it grows old. But there's one thing that breaks all those rules - the Word of God. The Word of God is thousands of years old, and yet when you receive it, it's newer than yesterday's newspaper. How much is yesterday's newspaper worth? Nothing. But the Word of God, thousands of years old, is as new and as priceless now as it was when it first came. So what should you be spending your time on?
