Do Not Deceive Yourself

  • A person once had a thought that he felt was very wise.

They presented this thought to many, only to find out that others did not think it was wise.

This person kept on searching for someone to agree that their thought was wise.

One day they met a person that agreed that their thought was wise.

They felt that finally they had found a truly wise person.

When validating ones thoughts as wise, the opinion of those that disagree is more important that those that do.

It is that which you do not understand that holds value towards learning better understanding.

Those that agree cannot give you a view point for better understanding, they cannot understand those that disagree, or they would not agree.

When you start a journey to find someone that agrees with your thoughts, this shows you question your thoughts.

Do not limit your ability to learn by disregarding those that disagree with your thoughts, for to do so will be denying yourself the potential for better understanding.

Words of a friend of "The Light".

    May peace be with all.
