Helping Others Grow in Faith

  • Perhaps you have personally seen the power of trusting God’s promises. You have been successful living by faith and wondering, how can I help others experience this? As a Minister, what can I do to help grow the body of Christ? To answer that, here are a few recommendations to help you succeed in that very important endeavor.

MyFaith Ministries, is built on home based groups of 10 to 20 people who are committed to living by faith and working together to lead others to faith. Each group meets once a week in a home for dinner, talking about God’s Word, worshiping, praying, and talking about how we are advancing the Gospel message with others.

Secondly, social media channels have played a significant role in reaching others who may be new, or struggling, with their relationship to Christ. By delivering a consistent, scripture based message and relating it to contemporary examples, you increase engagement and educate others in God’s Word. This has been especially important since Covid-19 has come into play.

Third, have a well defined offering. Encourage people with written, verbal and video content and ask for questions and comments. Be mindful, that it’s not your ministry. It’s God’s and we are serving Him by serving others.

Fourth, for those of you who know me, I’ve always said it’s about touching lives emotionally, educationally and spiritually. When you impact people on those levels, Almighty God can do some pretty miraculous things to enrich lives and promote unity amongst believers.

Lastly, as long as I am Senior Pastor of MyFaith Ministries, our mission, has been and always will be, to help others come to know Christ and to build the Christian Community of Faith. This is best accomplished, by staying active and relevant in one’s community, being selfless in sharing resources and by promoting and encouraging others, so that Christ message of salvation can be received by many.

“May the Lord bless your hearts work, the lives you will touch and the message of hope that only Jesus can deliver.”
