The Simple Things...

  • It is important always no matter what faith you practice, to admire and have a gratitude for the simple things in life. There is something about living simply that brings us to new levels of awareness for the spiritual around us. To sit and listen to robins and sparrows chirp and admire the squirrels, to admire the clouds in the sky overhead, admiring the weather in all it's shapes and forms, brings a sense of calm assurance. Practicing empathy and sympathy towards those who are experiencing natural disasters and may not have any affinity for the weather at all is also a good practice and putting out our positivity that those less fortunate would be able to experience the same things. This becomes something accustomed to over time that brings much positivity. Brings much peace and happiness. It's important to do this because of the standard grind of day to day monotany can be tedious and sometimes overbearing and it takes a lot of forebearance to not have our characters changed from our circumstances. People forget and may just have an overcast of sluggish crabby emotions and may not even realize they snap at who ever approaches. Then they wonder why nobody talks to them. When we recognize the problems and issues at hand we can overcome our difficulties to live a happy productive life. That is overall my hopes about how to change people. To change circumstances and events around people's lives for the better and become a force for positivity in the world.
