Understanding Fear and Courage
And God created man in His image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. - Genesis 1:27
Having spent the last year and half of living through the “pandemic,” I have finally discovered what I believe to be a great truth, a truth that we are about to explore.
Understanding Good
He has told you, O man, what is good, and what the Lord demands of you; but to do justice, to love loving-kindness, and to walk discreetly with your God. - Micah 6:8
Understanding Evil
At the risk of sounding like a conspiracy theorist, I truly believe that the current virus situation is a man-made crisis designed so that those in power can enrich themselves with power and money (1). In other words, we are back once again to the sin of the generation of the flood (2) and the sin of Sodom (3).
Understanding Fear is Evil
R. Hama son of R. Hanina further said: What means the text: Ye shall walk after the Lord your God (Duet. 13:5)? Is it, then, possible for a human being to walk after the Shechinah; for has it not been said: For the Lord thy God is a devouring fire (Deut. 9:24)? But [the meaning is] to walk after the attributes of the Holy One, blessed be He. As He clothes the naked, for it is written: And the Lord God made for Adam and for his wife coats of skin, and clothed them (Gen. 3:21), so do thou also clothe the naked. The Holy One, blessed be He, visited the sick, for it is written: And the Lord appeared unto him by the oaks of Mamre (Gen. 18:1), so do thou also visit the sick. The Holy One, blessed be He, comforted mourners, for it is written: And it came to pass after the death of Abraham, that God blessed Isaac his son (Gen. 25:11) so do thou also comfort mourners. The Holy one, blessed. be He, buried the dead, for it is written: And He buried him in the valley (Deut. 34:6) , so do thou also bury the dead. - Talmud (Sotah 14a)
There are those in power who are doing evil things, but that is not the true face of evil. The true face of evil are those who are afraid, afraid because the media and the government told them to be afraid. If we look back to World War 2, the German people at the behest of their Nazi rulers did the monstrous evil that resulted in the Holocaust. The Nazis did not have the manpower to commit the atrocities of World War 2, so they told the German people to be afraid. And because the German people were afraid, they did the atrocities of World War 2.
20 And you shall not mistreat a stranger, nor shall you oppress him, for you were strangers in the land of Egypt.
21 You shall not oppress any widow or orphan.
22 If you oppress him, [beware,] for if he cries out to Me, I will surely hear his cry.
23 My wrath will be kindled, and I will slay you with the sword, and your wives will be widows and your children orphans. - Exodus, Chapter 22
And where are we today? Governments throughout the world have told their people to be afraid of a virus with a less than 1% chance of killing them. And so what have people throughout the world have done?
They have made it impossible to visit the sick, comfort mourners and bury the dead because of “social distancing,” because of limitations on the number of people who can attend funerals, because of lock-downs that are the same as house-arrest.
They have prevented families from gathering for holidays and special family occasions.
They have called the police because their neighbors were hosting a birthday party.
They have prevented people from food shopping.
They have denied needed medical care to people. They have made the ill die, sick and alone.
They have denied needed, proven, medications (4) to those with the virus to up the death toll and stoke more fear.
They have sent people with the virus into nursing homes knowing that would up the death toll.
They have destroyed the reputations and livelihoods of countless doctors, nurses, and scientists whose research has led them to question the position of those in power. Why? All so as to raise the death toll so that they can profit from an unneeded, unproven, ineffective “vaccine.”
Whoever destroys a soul, it is considered as if he destroyed an entire world. And whoever saves a life, it is considered as if he saved an entire world. - Jerusalem Talmud, Sanhedrin 4:1 (22a)
They have coerced people into taking an experimental, not FDA approved, “vaccine” in violation of the Nuremberg Code.
They have fired people who refused to risk their lives for a job.
They have shut down houses of worship. They have arrested and persecuted clergy.
They have shut down gyms and arrested gym owners.
They have destroyed small businesses. They have impoverished countless families whose businesses they destroyed. The evil of what they have done is spelled out in Exodus Rabbah 31:12 (which is a midrashic commentary on Exodus 22:24):
The poor among you: Nothing is harder than poverty; it is the hardest affliction in the world. Our Masters said: All the afflictions are on one side [of the scales] and poverty is on the other side.
They have denied children the right to play outside in the sunshine and fresh air. They have disrupted the socialization and childhood development of a generation of children. They have driven children to suicide (5).
They have proposed legislation to ban unvaccinated people from air travel. They are the ones who have called for unvaccinated people to be arrested and sent to “quarantine camps.”
They have demanded that people wear useless, dangerous, dehumanizing face coverings when there is no scientific evidence that they are effective in preventing the spread of any airborne virus.
The frail you did not strengthen, the sick you did not heal, the broken you did not bind, those astray you did not bring back, and the lost you did not seek, but with strength and with rigor you chastised them. - Ezekiel 34:4
All of this is where the true evil lies. Not just the ones who planned to make the entire planet into Sodom, but the very people whose fear and cooperation have turned the entire planet into Sodom.
Understanding Courage and Morality
That which is hateful to you, do not do to your fellow. That is the whole Torah; the rest is the explanation; go and learn. - Hillel (Talmud, Shabbat 31a).
Courage is more than the opposite of fear. Courage is the willingness to follow one's convictions and moral beliefs regardless of what the circumstances are. Courage is making the choice to stand up for one's beliefs when everyone around you has become evil because they are afraid.
Understanding Courage and Faith
Courage is faith in the Almighty when everyone else is afraid and lacking faith. Courage is having faith in God when everything is falling apart and those around you are all enabling evil to run amuck.
Dr. Zelenko (6), a brilliant doctor, explained that we have to make choice between faith in God and faith in man. He explained that we have effective treatments for this virus. He has called the “vaccine” a “death shot.” Dr. Zelenko has likened the “vaccine” to עבודה זרה (conceptually translated as idol worship). He has said that vaccinating children, who stand an excellent chance of survival is “child sacrifice.” And so courage and faith are inextricably linked together.
Conclusion
Fearful people do evil things and therefore are evil.
Courageous people are those who are moral and are also people of faith.
Lastly, as Pastor Martin Niemoller said:
In Germany, they first came for the Communists and I did not speak up because I wasn’t a Communist. Then they came for the Jews and I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a Jew. Then they came for the trade unionists and I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a trade unionist. Then they came for the Catholics and I didn’t speak up because I was a Protestant. Then they came for me and by that time, there was no one left to speak up.
