  I am wanting to start a small ministry and I was wanting to know should I use the ULC name or use a name of my choosing or a combination?  I would also like to know if it is appropriate to use a site like gofundme for donations to buy materials to use in the ministry?

  a combination would probably reduce confusion. i'm not familiar with gofundme but i don't see what it could hurt. godspeed in your efforts.

  Not sure about the name, but yes you can use gofundme to raise funds for your ministry. But make sure you set up all the legal stuff properly so that those donations are tax deductible. Unless your donors don't care.

  I am thinking of doing the same thing.
  
  I dont see anything wrong with a gofundme as long as its done by law.
  
  & as for the ULC within the name.
  
  I like to say/think my church would be a churh under the umbrella of The ULC.
  
  But very good question.
  I would email the ULC on that.
