Sorry to hear that you had a problem. I have recently gotten scammed by a food delivery person. He was almost in tears when he brought me my dinner. I offered to pay him for a few hours work. He came and did the work and I paid him and then he called and needed money to fix his car and could not come and help more without the car and yes, I helped him. After several rounds he got $350 from me before I said no more. I hope stopping it cold was the right thing to do. He disappeared after that so I think it was just a scam and not someone in need.
