What does it mean to be "in regular communion" with ULC? There are more than a few times the words, "in regular communion" appear in requirement for state recognition of wedding officiants. Are we supposed to attend a physical ULC service somewhere? Below is a copy/paste from the Kentucky page:

ministers of the gospel or priests of any denomination in regular communion with their religious societies,

I just want to be certain I am in compliance.

The phrase "in regular communion with their religious community" refers to the consistent and active participation of individuals in the life and practices of their faith community.
Here's a breakdown of what that entails:
    1. Active Participation:
Regular Attendance: Attending worship services, prayer meetings, and other communal gatherings on a frequent basis.
Engagement in Rituals and Sacraments: Actively participating in religious rituals, such as Holy Communion (also known as the Eucharist or Lord's Supper in some Christian denominations).
Involvement in Community Activities: Participating in events and activities organized by the religious community, like social gatherings, service projects, or educational programs.
    2. Shared Beliefs and Values:
Affirmation of Faith: Professing and upholding the core beliefs and values of the specific religious tradition.
Identification with the Community: Feeling a sense of belonging and connection to the religious group and its members.
Living Out the Faith: Demonstrating faith through actions and behaviors that align with the teachings and principles of the religion.
    3. Spiritual and Relational Connection:
Seeking Spiritual Growth: Utilizing the resources and opportunities provided by the religious community for personal spiritual development and enrichment.
Building Relationships: Developing meaningful relationships with other members of the community, fostering a sense of fellowship and mutual support.
Sharing in the Life of the Community: Actively contributing to the overall well-being and flourishing of the religious community.
In essence, being in regular communion with a religious community signifies a commitment to:
    Shared worship and practice.
    Mutual support and encouragement.
    Spiritual growth and transformation.
